Installation Checklist

Use this checklist to verify you’re ready:

  • Downloaded Diwadi for your platform (macOS, Windows, or Linux)
  • Installed the Diwadi app on your system
  • Launched the app successfully
  • Stable internet connection available (for updates)

Verification

To verify everything is set up correctly:

  1. Launch Diwadi: Open the app from your Applications folder (Mac) or Start Menu (Windows)
  2. Check Status: The app should open without errors
  3. Test File Preview: Drag and drop a file to test the preview feature

Troubleshooting

Installation Issues

  • Make sure you downloaded the correct version for your OS
  • On macOS: Allow the app in System Settings → Privacy & Security
  • On Windows: Click “More info” → “Run anyway” if SmartScreen appears
  • Try restarting your computer after installation

App Won’t Open

  • macOS: Check System Settings → Privacy & Security for blocked apps
  • Windows: Right-click → Run as Administrator
  • Linux: Ensure you have execution permissions (chmod +x)
  • Update to the latest version from downloads page

Files Not Opening

  • Verify the file format is supported
  • Check that the file isn’t corrupted
  • Try with a different file to isolate the issue
  • Restart the Diwadi app
