Resizing changes the pixel dimensions of the entire image — a 4032x3024 photo becomes 1080x810, and all content is preserved but scaled down. Cropping cuts away parts of the image to change its frame — you keep a 1080x810 section of the original at full resolution. Use resize when you need the whole image at different dimensions. Use crop when you need to remove unwanted edges or reframe the composition.

Pixels are the actual dots of color in a digital image. DPI (dots per inch) determines how those pixels map to physical size when printed. A 3000x2000 pixel image printed at 300 DPI produces a 10x6.67 inch print. The same image at 150 DPI prints at 20x13.33 inches but looks less sharp. For high-quality prints, aim for 300 DPI. Amazon requires a minimum of 1600x1600 pixels on the longest side for zoom functionality, with 2000x2000 pixels recommended for best results. The maximum is 10,000 pixels on any side. Product images must be at least 500x500 pixels to be listed. Set only the width or only the height, and Diwadi calculates the other dimension automatically to preserve the original aspect ratio.
